What is OSI Model, complete information in Hindi

Do you know what is OSI Model or what is OSI Layers Model? If not then this post today is going to be very good. Initially the development of networks was very chaotic. This is because each vendor had its own propriety solution. The bad thing in this is that the solution of one vendor was not compatible with the other. Just to solve this problem, the OSI Model was born.

In this, layered approach was used to network in which the hardware vendors used to design the hardware for the network while other software used to develop the application layer.

Using an open model where everyone agrees, it means creating a network that is compatible with everyone. To fix this problem, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) studied different networks and in 1984 the OSI Model was prepared. It was compatible with all vendors.

This OSI Model is not just a model to make the networks compatible but it is a very good way to convince people about the networks. That's why today I thought why should you be provided with information about what is the OSI Model and what are its OSI Layers and their functions. Then what is the delay? Let's start.

The full form of OSI is the Open System Interconnection (OSI) model, an ISO standard of worldwide communication networks that defines a networking framework to implement protocols in Seven Layers.

The OSI Layer Model is designed by international organization for standards, where OSI stands for Open Systems Interconnection. With this method, the communication system is divided into seven different layers.

Here a layer is an assortment of theoretically comparable functions that offer services to the layer above them and the services below them. The OSI Layer Model facilitates the user with a blunder free transportation transversely a network and while the same route also offers such applications as may be required.

Here, layers throw the packets and also find which gives the path to the contents. The OSI Layer Model offers a framework for networking that employs protocols in these seven layers.

In this, the processing control exceeds from one layer to another and this process continues till the end. In this, the processing starts at the bottom layer and then goes over the channel to the forward station and then back to its hierarchy.

What is an OSI layer?
Layering in the communication process means a process that means breaking down the communication process in Smaller and Easier to handle interdependent categories.

What is layer protocol?
The conventions and rules that are used in such communications are collectively called the layer protocol.

When was the OSI Model established?
ISO (International organization for standardization) developed the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model in 1984. ISO is an organization that is completely dedicated to define such global communication and standards.

Why is this model called OSI?
This model is called Open System Interconnection (OSI) because it allows the model to communicate between two different systems regardless of their underlying architecture.
